I just heard the sad news that Special Effects master Stan Winston has passed away, few details are known at this time.

Stan's many credits include "John Carpenter's The Thing" "Aliens" "Pumpkinhead " "Edward Scissorhands" "Jurassic Park" "Terminator 2 "The Monster Squad" "Predator" and most recently "Iron Man"
