The Zuni FetishDoll

The Zuni fetish doll from the 1975 ABC Movie of The Week, "Trilogy of Terror."

Although not my particular brand of fetish doll ; ) Dan Curtis' "Trilogy of Terror" ended with one of the most memorial monsters in tv history. Adapted for the screen by Richard Matheson "Amelia" was based on his short story "Prey," and starred Karen Black as a woman who is attacked by a birthday present she bought her boyfriend, a present which she inadvertantly brought to life.

Check out how it all ends, by watching this clip from YouTube.

Curtis would go on to reuse the Zuni Fetish Doll in 1996, in the sequel "Trilogy of Terror II."

Toymaker Majestic Studios produced a very cool reproduction of the Zuni doll, which as been used to varying effects in some fan made films.

Check a few of them out:

"Trilogy of Christmas"
"He Who Kills"

There are also several short CGI animations being made:

Zuni with Knife
Zuni Doll Test

That's a nightmare-starter right there. Ditto for Ms. Black in the YouTube joint.

On a side note, any plans to do a portrait of Robert E. Howard? As always, great job and keep posting.
